Paul Deanno is replacing Roberta Gonzales as chief meteorologist at KPIX-KBCW, the CBS duopoly in San Francisco.

Gonzales, who has worked at KPIX-KBCW for 16 years, will stay with the stations in a new role as weekend meteorologist, with additional weather reporting in the field during the week. Deanno and Gonzales step into their new roles on August 30.

“I am very excited both to welcome Paul and to have Roberta in a dynamic new role,” news director and vice president Dan Rosenheim said in a statement.
