A KOVR photographer was ready to go live with a reporter on the scene of a crash on westbound I-80 yesterday when a couple of cars got mixed up on eastbound I-80 while the photog was rolling.
The CHP said a “rubbernecker” caused the first crash. In the second crash, a pickup sent a small car careening into one of the cars from the first crash just the driver was getting out of his truck.
The station said it’s unknown how many people were injured in the accidents.
