Sacramento CBS owned station KOVR has announced Christina Anderson (pictured left) has been promoted to primary co-anchor. She’d been filling as evening co-anchor after Shannon Brinias left the station.
Anderson will stay on as anchor of the 4:00 p.m. and will join Sam Shane at 5:00 and 10:00 p.m.
The station has also added Adrienne Moore (right) as weekend evening anchor alongside Steve Large.

Moore worked at KOVR once before, after an internship at the station turned into a job as an associate producer in 2001. Moore rejoined the station in January after working at WJXT in Jacksonville, Fla. She’s also worked at KFMB and KGTV in San Diego, KSBY in San Luis Obispo and KHSL-KNVN in Chico, Calif.
