KOVR‘s newest sports reporter is a former college football player.
Joe Musso debuted on the CBS-owned station in Sacramento last week.
The Chicago native spent four years as a wide receiver for Illinois Wesleyan University’s football team. At the same time he began working in journalism, for the campus newspaper and radio station.
Musso’s first TV job was at KOLN the CBS affiliate in Lincoln, Nebraska. He also spent two years interning for Comcast Sportsnet Chicago while earning his M.S. at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
