Douglas Koontz has been named gm of Knoxville, Tenn., independent station WKNX.
Koontz has been the general sales manager for Lockwood Broadcast Group stations WKNX and CW affiliate WBXX.
“Doug is highly respected and well connected in the Knoxville market,” said Lockwood vp Gerald Walsh. “He’s the perfect candidate to maximize the opportunity we have in The Knox.”
