KMSP anchor Jeff Passolt took to Twitter to let viewers know how he was doing after breaking his hip last week.
The Star Tribune says Passolt slipped and fell on ice while at the state capitol to interview Governor Mark Dayton.
“I was able to drag myself to my car,” said Passolt, who has worked in the Twin Cities since 1981. “I don’t remember it clearly or my drive home.”
Passolt says his expected recovery time of six weeks may be delayed by his diabetes, but says Twitter has been keeping his spirits up.
“The response on social media has been heart-warming,” Passolt told the Star-Tribune.
