David Hall is joining KMBC as an anchor-reporter. Hall comes to Kansas City from Philadelphia, where he worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WCAU.
“David brings a long list of experience with him,” KMBC news director Sherrie Brown said, in announcing the move. “He will fit right in with our team because he is an anchor with a passion for getting out in the field, whether he is reporting or making a difference in the community.”
Prior to his time in Philly, Hall reported for KDKA in Pittsburgh and WTOC in Savannah.

“I am excited to enter into this next chapter in my life,” Hall said. “Becoming a member of the KMBC 9 News team and experiencing life in a new city is something I’m very much looking forward to.”
