KJRH has announced Max Resnick (pictured left) will replace Marla Carter (pictured right) as weekend anchor for the Tulsa NBC affiliate.

Resnick joins meteorologist Brittany Rainey one week from Saturday on July 27. Carter will return to the station’s investigative unit as the lead the investigator.

“Max is an excellent multimedia journalist and this will serve him well when combined with his previous anchoring experience to bring a fresh perspective to his new role,” said KJRH news director Susan D’Astoli.  “This move allows Marla Carter to devote herself full time to her role of investigative reporter and, along with the 2NEWS Investigators, will work for our community to uncover government waste, wrongdoing and fraud.”

Resnick started his career at WPTA-WISE in Fort Wayne, IN, before moving to KJRH in December 2012. Carter began her career with KJRH as an investigative reporter in March 2007.
