Amy Calvert has been named vp and GM of KJRH in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Calvert was GM of Christian digital satellite TV network GEB and once worked as a news producer at KJRH.
“Amy is a thoughtful and detail-oriented leader,” said Debbie Turner, vp of television operations for Scripps. “We are thrilled to find someone of Amy’s industry experience right in Tulsa. She grew up just down the road, so her affinity for her hometown will drive her commitment to serving the community while helping local businesses grow.”

She managed creative services for the TV Guide Channel between 2001 and 2007 and has worked as an executive producer at Oral Roberts University. She starts at the Tulsa NBC affiliate in early 2017.
