KHOU reporter Tiffany Craig and photographer Greg Ramirez are being hailed as heroes.
The two were covering the massive flooding in Houston yesterday when they spotted an SUV stranded in flood waters.
Inside was a mom and her children. The team pulled over to help them.
“Next thing, the back opened up and she started handing kids to #khou11 photog Gregg Ramirez,” Tiffany tweeted out.
Ramirez pulled out a little girl and a baby only wearing a diaper. Another good Samaritan pulled their car to dry ground.
“I’m like a proud Mom,” KHOU news director Sally Ramirez tweeted out.
Everyone is safe.
I’m like a proud mom. My #KHOU11 team ALWAYS ready to help OUR community. We live here too. Neighbors help neighbors. #ThisIsJournalism Thank you Photojournalist G-Ram & @TiffanyKHOU https://t.co/w33KWjdpvQ
