Stan Melton has been announced as the creative services director for San Diego ABC affiliate KGTV and Azteca San Diego.
“Stan brings to San Diego nearly 20 years of highly effective television marketing and creative branding experience,” Jeff Block, VP & GM of KGTV said in a statement. “An award-winning writer/producer/director in his own right, his track record leading creative teams to messaging and ratings successes is enviable, and we are pleased and proud to have Stan joining our executive team.”
Melton comes to KGTV on June 2 from Brown Bag Creative in the Washington, D.C. area. He has also worked at WJLA, NewsChannel 8 and POLITICO in Washington, D.C., KENS in San Antonio, TX, WFAA and KXAS in Dallas and KOCO in Oklahoma City, OK.
