Jessica Castro is joining the morning newscast for San Francisco ABC-owned station KGO.
Castro’s hire was first reported by Bay Area media blogger Rich Lieberman.
She comes from KTNV in Las Vegas where she’s been working as a reporter. Before that she worked at KCIT in Amarillo, Texas.
