KGO EP Follows Adrouny South, Re-Joins KNTV

Bob Goldberger is leaving ABC-owned station KGO to work at NBC-owned station KNTV.

“Bob Goldberger will be an Assistant News Director for NBC Bay Area,” a station spokesperson told TVSpy. “His first day with the station will be November 28.”

This follows the hire of longtime KGO assistant ND Stephanie Adrouny as KNTV ND. Goldberger served as KNTV news director from 1999 until 2002 between its ABC affiliation and becoming an NBC-owned station.

Rich Lieberman, who first reported the news, says Goldebrger was well respected at KGO.
