The Tribune-owned stations in Northwest Arkansas, KFSM (CBS) and KXNW, are getting a new home.

Tribune announced the stations will move into a new facility in Johnson, Arkansas, north of Fayetteville, at a property just off I-49. Until now, the stations had been located about 3 miles away at the Northwest Arkansas mall.

“The dynamic growth of this region and our business has made this move possible,” said general manager Van Comer. “The design embraces a modern open office atmosphere that promotes creativity and collaboration and the studio space will enhance our productions with a more expansive environment in an all-new state-of-the-art look.”

The 24,000-square-foot facility is being designed by a local architect.

For now, KFSM will also maintain its location in downtown Fort Smith, 60 miles south of Johnson.
