Hours after news of Annie Stensrud’s DUI arrest broke, Mankato CBS-affiliate KEYC released a statement addressing the incident on their website:
Stensrud, you may recall, made national headlines when video of her slurring during a newscast went viral. She told station management that she was taking some medications at that time that caused the intoxicated–like appearance and behaviors.
KEYC General Manager Denny Wahlstrom says that because it is a personnel matter, procedures need to be followed according to station policy, and that no further comment will be made at this time.
