KDFW will add another hour to its weekday morning show, Good Day.

Starting this September, the station will broadcast weekdays from 4a.m. to 10a.m. With the addition, the Fox station will produce 10 hours of local news each weekday.

“We’re delighted to give our viewers more local and national news, as well as the best information to start their day. The additional hour will allow us to showcase more of what makes our community so great,” said vice president and news director Robin Whitmeyer.

Lauren Przybyl and Tim Ryan will anchor the extra hour alongside meteorologist Evan Andrews. Additional staff members will be named later this summer.
