KCPQ anchor Lily Jang is leaving Seattle to join KHOU, Houston media blogger Mike McGuff reports.
Jang, who has been at the Seattle Fox-affiliate for seven years, announced in November she would relocate to Houston to be with her ailing father.
“I am incredibly blessed that KHOU is giving me this opportunity,” Jang told McGuff. “Excited to finally be home where I grew up and my parents can watch me.”

She will replace Christine Haas, who is bound for KNSD, on the morning newscasts. Her first day at KHOU will be February 12.
