A KCNC-CBS4 camera operator was cited by Federal Protective Services for disobeying an order as he waited inside the lobby of the Byron G. Rodgers Federal Courthouse in Denver this afternoon.
As federal authorities questioned Najibullah Zazi, a 24-year-old Aurora airport-shuttle driver, about his alleged involvement in a bomb plot, cameraman Glenn McReynolds stepped inside the lobby about 4:15 p.m.
Security officers told him that he needed to wait with other reporters and photographers outside, witnesses observed. He asked for an explanation of why the public was allowed inside the lobby but not reporters, and he was told that there was a 30-foot rule to divide people leaving the building and members of the media, a witness said.
