Amber Lee has been promoted to weekend evening meteorologist for Los Angeles CBS-owned KCBS-KCAL.
Lee was the weekend morning meteorologist. She’ll continue to report during the weekdays.
“We are very pleased to recognize the outstanding work Amber has done for us, both as a meteorologist and reporter, during the past three years by giving her this well-deserved opportunity,” said gm of KCBS-KCAL Steve Mauldin. “We view Amber’s new role as very important to our continuing success because our viewers rely on the weather forecasts during our Saturday and Sunday newscasts when making plans for the weekend and the start of the work week.”
