On KFOR’s Rise and Shine 8 a.m. newscast Thursday (seen on KAUT), resident everyman Lucas Ross learned the hard way what impromptu dancing on live TV can do.
Just as Emily Sutton was getting to the forecast for Saturday, St. Patrick’s Day, Irish music began to play, Ross joined in, and went down, hard.
“Yeah, I’m just going to lay here a little bit.”

As they came back to close out the show, Ross appeared not much worse for the wear. “You should not have buttered your shoes,” Sutton joked.
