Anchor Katie Solove will join Lexington ABC affiliate WTVQ as morning co-anchor alongside Doug High.
“Like me, Katie is Buckeye raised, but she has strong ties to Lexington with family in the area…I can tell you that she is very excited to be Bluegrass bound,” High writes on Facebook. “Katie will bring great broadcast experience, as well as high energy and a lot of fun to the GMK family. I’ve really enjoyed the time we have spent together, already… and thrilled for you to get to know her.”
Solove joins WTVQ from WTTV, the CBS affiliate in Indianapolis, where she fell during a live traffic update last year.
