Katie Morse, an anchor-reporter at Time Warner Cable News, will move across town to Buffalo ABC affiliate WKBW, reports the Buffalo News. Morse, a former WKBW intern, will anchor evening newscasts starting October 28:
Morse is an Amherst native who graduated from Kent State University and received a master’s degree from Canisius College. She joined YNN in March of 2009 from Time Warner’s news channel in Syracuse.
“She is a solid journalist with strong local roots and will be a great addition to our growing news operation,” said Channel 7 General Manager Michael Nurse.
