KARE Weekend Anchor, Who Worked Alongside Husband On-Air, Leaves Station

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

KARE weekend anchor Camille Williams announced she’s leaving the Minneapolis station.

She told viewers she would no longer be anchoring the weekend newscasts with her husband, Cory Hepola.

“More than 10 years ago, Cory and I met in upstate NY, early in our TV broadcasting careers, dreaming of one day anchoring together,” she wrote on Facebook. “After years of long distance, working at competing TV stations, a little time out of TV news, our dream finally came true at KARE 11.”

Williams’ bio has been removed from the website. She didn’t say where she was going next, but alluded to staying in the area.

“I’m taking a leap of faith. I plan to continue to be heavily involved in this community.”

Williams and Hepola welcomed twins in 2016.
