Talent from local stations across the country continue to head to Chicago ahead of the September launch of News Nation, Nexstar’s new national news venture on WGN America.
KSHB meteorologist Gerard Jebaily will join WGN America as the network’s weekend meteorologist.
“It’s my last ever newscast on @41actionnews! Hope you can tune in as I say goodbye to KC,” he wrote on Aug. 14.
Jebaily announced in June that he would be joining the Nexstar network.
He’ll be doing shows on Saturday and Sunday alongside former Miami anchor Rudabeh Shahbazi, anchor Nichole Berlie and breaking news anchor Aaron Nolan.
The show is set to launch Sept. 1. Anchors have been doing rehearsals on set ahead of the launch.
