Jadiann Thompson is joining Boston NBC affiliate WHDH as an anchor and reporter.
Boston Media Watch reports Thompson will anchor alongside Nick Emmons on weekends.
Monday, she told viewers on her facebook page, “This is my last week with 41 Action News – KSHB-TV. Soon a new chapter will start in my life. I’m moving to Boston to be the weekend evening anchor at WHDH Channel 7 News.”

She joined KSHB in 2013 from KPHO in Phoenix, Ariz.
Her father Lynn recently helped rescue five people caught in a creek during the recent flooding near Fort Smith, Ark.
