Los Angeles ABC-owned station KABC is adding a 3 p.m. newscast.

Starting next Tuesday, viewers can watch anchors Ellen Leyva and Colleen Sullivan along with weathercaster Danny Romero on the hourlong show.

“We are pleased to provide our viewers this new convenient time to get up-to-the-minute news, weather, traffic, and the trending stories everyone is
talking about,” said president and gm Cheryl Fair.

The addition of the 3 p.m. means viewers can watch five straight hours of KABC produced news each night on KABC and KDOC, where KABC produces a 7 p.m. show.
