1408572743022-Julie-BolognaWeekend morning meteorologist Julie Bologna is leaving Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA, after three years at the station.

Bologna announced the news to her Facebook fans earlier this month, writing, in part:

Working weekends has gotten harder with kiddos and a growing real estate business (Realtor, Keller Williams Southlake). So, it’s time to step away from that tv position. I’m not saying farewell to TV, just to this position that’s just not working with my busy life. I’m very excited to stay up past 8pm on the weekends and to sleep in past 2 am!!!!

She told her fans that she ‘may come back and fill in if the station needs me, but I’m looking forward to what the future holds!!’

Bologna previously worked at WPXI, the NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh, where she was chief meteorologist.

Her last day at WFAA was this past Sunday.
