KTBS chief meteorologist Joe Haynes has announced he is retiring from the Shreveport, La., ABC affiliate.
He told viewers he was going to semi-retire after he gave his two weeks notice.
“After many great years of serving the ArkLaTex, KTBS 3 is bidding farewell to our Chief Meteorologist Joe Haynes as he heads into retirement,” the station said on social media. “We would like to wish him the best and congratulate him on his new journey. We’ll miss you dearly!”
Haynes has also worked as a meteorologist at KFDA in Amarillo, Texas, WFOR in Miami and at KMGH in Denver.
