Jeff Valin is back on-air at the station he left in August.
Valin left NBC owned Hartford station WVIT to work at WBNS in Columbus, Ohio.
“Jeff has re-joined us on a freelance basis,” WVIT news director Matt Piacente told the Hartford Courant. “He’ll be handling some reporting duties, as well as some anchoring. We’re excited to have him.”

He’s also worked at WTNH and WTIC in Hartford.
