Jacksonville’s WFOX-WJAX Adds Phil Amato

Phil Amato will join Jacksonville FOX and CBS affiliate WFOX–WJAX as morning anchor Monday.

Amato left Jacksonville’s WJXX-WTLV in July after working there for more than 20 years.

“We were given the opportunity to bring on a pillar of the Jacksonville journalism community and we couldn’t pass it up,” Jim Zerwekh, VP & GM of WFOX-WJAX. “He is embedded in our community and knows what Jacksonville viewers expect in a newscast. We know he will bring those qualities to the CBS47/FOX30 Action News team.”
