Alia Blackburn has been promoted to weekend evening anchor for Indianapolis CBS affiliate WTTV.
Blackburn let everyone know the news on her social channels by saying she “can’t even begin to explain” how amazing it is to have this role in her hometown.
“This is a goal I’ve been working towards ever since I came home!” she said. “I’ll also still be reporting, and filling in on the desk, for both FOX59 & CBS4 during the week too!”

Blackburn came to Fox and CBS duopoly WXIN-WTTV in April 2021 from WTHI in Terre Haute, Ind.
