Tanae Howard has been named anchor for Indianapolis Fox affiliate WXIN‘s 11 p.m. newscast, which the station calls NewsPoint.

“We are proud of the work that Tanae has done as a reporter and anchor at FOX59,” said WXIN news director, Kerri Cavanaugh. “Her unique perspective on local news and her ability to tell the stories of the people she meets along the way has set her apart and we are thrilled to have her as the face of NewsPoint.”

Howard started at the station as an anchor and reporter in December 2013. She worked at WNEM in Flint, Mich. before coming to WXIN and has also worked at WCTI in New Bern, N.C. and WSB in Atlanta.
