Indiana Station Fires Anchor, News Director, More

There at noon, gone at 5.

That was the story today for veteran WLFI-TV18 news anchor Sue Scott and three other station employees, including two department heads, after management announced jobs cuts amid an industrywide downturn.

“During this continued economic downturn we’re in the middle of, we’re adjusting to the needs of the environment,” Tom Combs, station manager for WLFI, said. “As a result of that, we downsized, and some positions have been eliminated.”
