Brandi Hitt, an anchor at KOVR-TV Channel 13, has not renewed her contract with CBS 13. Her last day with the station was Friday.
Hitt’s contract was up in November and she did not share her future plans with the station, said Nita McCarron, a receptionist at CBS 13. Hitt anchored the hourlong 4 p.m. newscast and the world and national news at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.

Hitt joined CBS 13 in November 2005, at which time she launched a new 4 p.m. newscast. Four years later the newscast was nominated for an Emmy. More…
