An anchor breakup–and shakeup–may be on the horizon at WPIX/Ch.11, and Jodi Applegate could be at the heart of it.
That’s because Applegate has had conversations to become the 10 p.m. anchor at Ch. 11, according to sources, which would kick off a series of other changes at the Tribune-owned station.

Among those changes could be splitting up the 10 o’clock on-air partnership of Jim Watkins and Kaity Tong, who have anchored at Ch. 11–together–since 1998. More…
