Two workers fell, and another was injured while working on a WCNY antenna at the WKTV tower on Smith Hill, north of Utica.
Alpha Antenna Services, located in Manlius was hired by WCNY to do some repair work on the 350 foot television antenna tower.

Three employees were in the process of being hoisted up the tower by a cable system while wearing full body harnesses. As the men were approximately 20 to 30 feet off the ground the antenna located at the very top of the tower buckled over. More…
