There’s a New Weather Face in Buffalo

WGRZ has made a new weather hire. She’s making a jump to market 52 from market 137.

Elyse Smith is coming from KRGC in Jefferson City, Mo. and will fill the vacant weekend anchor position.

Jennifer Stanonis left the station last year after seven years to spend more time with her three children.

Smith, who will arrive next month, is a Chicago native.
