In Anniversary Coverage, Smith Revisiting Katrina Horrors

Fox News’ Shepard Smith isn’t a fan of covering anniversaries– but he understands the need.

“I like to cover news when it happens, not five years later,” Smith says as the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina nears.

He can’t avoid this one, though. One of the lasting TV images in a sea of horrific images of Hurricane Katrina is that of Smith standing on a bridge in New Orleans with a dead man lying on the road behind him. More…
