Hometown New York City Reporter Leaves for Philadelphia

CBS New York reporter Janelle Burrell is leaving New York to take an anchor job in the City of Brotherly Love.

“Some personal news to share: After six years at CBS New York, tomorrow will be my last day. It’s bittersweet for me, leaving a station in the TV market that I grew up watching, so I’m grateful to be staying within the CBS family,” she said in a Facebook post.

Burrell ended her run at WCBS this week, and will start next month at KYW.
