KREM morning anchor Brittany Bailey kept a secret from her mother.
She was looking for a new job and found one in her hometown, Columbus, Ohio, where her mother lives.
But on May 3, she revealed the news to her via Facetime and got her reaction on camera when she said she was moving home.

“Oh my gosh, you’re kidding!,” her mom said.
The news brought tears to Bailey and her mom’s eyes.
“Mom, I went back to Ohio for the interview and didn’t even tell you!” she said.
Today, Bailey said goodbye to her Spokane, Wash. co-workers and also her viewers. She will begin as a reporter for WBNS next month.
