Historic Win Brings in Historic Ratings in Chicago

Last night’s Fox broadcast of Game Seven of the World Series brought the highest ratings for the year to Chicago Fox-owned station WFLD.

According to Nielsen 3,217,000 people in the Chicago area watched the Cubs historic win last night on WFLD. The station saw a Household rating of 51.5 and a 72 share, compared to Super Bowl 50’s 47.6 Household rating and 72 share. According to the Nielsen DMA report the Chicago market has 3,463,060 TV Homes.

WFLD says viewership ranged from 2,613,000 to 333,000 viewers from first pitch to last out.
