Happy New Year and Happy Friday to those who celebrate!

Our holiday break involved ice cream, snow chains and a lot of rain. But now we’re back and posting all the news I can find about local TV. With that in mind and in an attempt to burn off some of those holiday ice cream calories, here are some stories we didn’t get to this week. Enjoy!

WTNH meteorologist Ryan Munn has announced his departure from the Hartford ABC affiliate. Click here to read what he said.

Blaise Keller has announced that he has signed on for another two years at WKOW in Madison, Wisconsin. Click here to see his tweet.

Tegna’s Charlotte, N.C. NBC affiliate WCNC has hired Colin Mayfield as co-anchor of the 5 p.m. newscast with anchor Vanessa Ruffes. He debuts on Tuesday, Jan 17. Click here to read more.

West Palm Beach, Florida station WPTV said it is now streaming live local news updates and newscasts on your favorite device every weekday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Click here for more.

Nikki DeMentri – started with KYW in Philadelphia.
Nicole Sganga – was promoted at CBS News.
Maurielle Lue – was named to the new 12pm show for the Fox owned station in Detroit.
Janice Yu – has started as reporter with WABC.
Jackie DeAngelis signed new deal at Fox News to co-host a new show launching in January.
Kendall Green – is starting as reporter with WNYW in New York on March 2023.
Kevin Nathan – has signed new deal with WVIT.
Errol Louis – has entered into a new agreement as political anchor with NY1/Charter Comms.
Arlette Saenz – has entered new agreement with CNN as White House Correspondent.
Annie Rose Ramos – has started with KTLA in Los Angeles as a reporter.
Tim McNicholas – has started with CBS NY as a reporter after being with CBS Chicago.
Ryan Nobles – has started with NBC as Capital Hill Correspondent after 8 years with CNN.
