Kyle Grimes has been named president and GM of WGAL.

He takes over for John Humphries who left the Lancaster, Pa. NBC affiliate to head up Hearst’s NBC affiliate in Greenville, S.C., WYFF. Grimes comes from Hearst’s WPTZ-WNNE in Plattsburgh, N.Y.

“Kyle is an outstanding executive who will provide the next generation of leadership to WGAL,” said Jordan Wertlieb, Hearst Television’s President. “His news and management experience within several Hearst Television stations, including prominent NBC affiliates with stalwart community service, makes him the ideal choice to lead this great television station.”
