Connecticut Station Launches 3-Hour Primetime Newscast

WCTX, the Nexstar station in Hartford, Conn., is adding a three-hour weekly newscast.

WCTX is the sister station of WTNH, the ABC affiliate in the market.

“Launching three-hours of live local news in prime-time Monday through Friday is a clear demonstration of our commitment to serving viewers and advertisers in the greater Hartford/New Haven area and across the state,” said Rich Graziano, the station’s general manager.

The show will run from 8-11 p.m. weeknights. It will be broken down into hourly segments and will debut on March 30.
