Hartford Station Adds Two Reporters

Hartford NBC Owned station WVIT is adding two reporters.

Kate Rayner has been named full-time staff reporter by news director MattĀ Piacente. Rayner started at the station last fall as a freelancer. According to a memo Piacente sent to staff, Rayner will work the morning show and fill-in at the anchor desk.

The station also announced Dan Corcoran is joining the station from WPTV in West Palm Beach.

Corcoran will work as a nightside reporter. He starts April 20.

Before coming to WVIT, Rayner worked in Augusta, Ga. and Wilmington, N.C. Corcoran has worked at KEZI in Eugene, Oregon, WMUR in New Hampshire and also several cable stations in Massachusetts.
