Harrisburg, Pa., anchor Rob Hanrahan, who suffered a major heart attack in June, is in recovery and thanked viewers on Twitter for the first time since leaving the hospital.
“Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers,” Hanrahan wrote on Friday. “An update for all: I am spending a lot of time in cardiac rehab and working on healing. Bless you all. Your prayers are working!”
On June 18, the 58-year-old suffered a heart attack that landed him in the hospital for two emergency surgeries. He was released on June 26.
He posted a photo of himself in rehab.
Hanrahan has been working for CBS21 since 2010. It’s unclear when he will return to WHP.
