Greg Kelly Tells Viewers He Has Exciting Things To Come

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

Greg Kelly has said goodbye to WNYW morning viewers.

“Well folks, it has been a lot of fun,” said Kelly signing off the Fox-owned New York station. “I am very grateful to everyone mainly to those in this building and the viewers. I am excited about the future. I am very grateful for my partner here. I am privileged to have worked with you all this time.”

Kelly has been the co-anchor of Good Day New York since 2008. Rosanna Scotto has been Kelly’s co-anchor for most of that time. (Kelly briefly left mornings for the evenings 5 years ago.)

Scotto asked Kelly, what’s next. “What do you have up your sleeve?”

“Look, I’ve got very big plans. Very interesting plans. Change is interesting and it’s sometimes very exciting.”

As TVSpy reported, former WABC anchor, Lori Stokes, is expected to take Kelly’s spot in the mornings. The morning anchor left the ABC owned station over the Summer.
