Kelly, who is the son of former NYPD commissioner Ray Kelly,  joined WNYW in 2008 from Fox News Channel.

Sources tell us former WABC morning anchor, Lori Stokes, will replace Kelly as Rossana Scotto’s co-host on the WNYW morning show.

Stokes left ABC 7 in August after 17 years at the station.

Sources say Stokes will join the team in a few weeks. In the meantime, evening anchor, Steve Lacy, will step in.

The station will air two farewell stories as a send-off to Kelly in the 8:30 and 9:30 hours tomorrow.

Stokes is not the only New York anchor to join WNYW in the past few months. Former WPIX anchor, Sukanya Krishnan, joined the Good Day Wake Up over the summer.
