Bill White has been named GM of Lockwood Broadcast Group’s Greensboro, N.C. CW affiliate WCWG.
“I’m excited to be in the Triad, excited about the real opportunities I see with this station, and I look forward to working with the great team that’s already in place,” said White.
White last worked as GM of WQCW in Charleston-Huntington, W.V. He’s also worked at WOWK in Huntington, The State Journal of WV, WVAH and WCHS in Charleston.

“Bill could choose to be on the golf course, so we are especially thrilled that he has agreed to continue his broadcasting career with Lockwood,” said Gerald Walsh, Lockwood’s vp of Broadcast Operations.
Lockwood operates six TV stations in the Southeast and Midwest.
