Gray Opens Washington, D.C. News Bureau

Gray Television has opened a news bureau in the nation’s capital.

The station group says the bureau “provides breaking news,interviews, and investigative specials focusing on federal issues, events, and people that are directly impacting the communities of each Gray Television station.”

Jacqueline Policastro will lead the bureau. She last worked at AP Television in Washington, and has worked in Indianapolis, Indiana and Erie, Pa. She created the DC Bureau for Lilly Broadcasting.

“All politics is local, even when it takes place in Washington, DC,” said Gray CEO Hilton Howell. “The Washington News Bureau extends our commitment to serving our communities by empowering a great team of TV professionals and partners to deliver the best and most in-depth coverage of the local impacts of federal policy.”
